Bike

There are many bike trails at Lake Caldonazzo. A classic for tourists is the excursion along the Valsugana bicycle trail, a simple route that winds along lake Caldonazzo, continues along the river Brenta and reaches all the way to Bassano del Grappa. During the bicycle ride you almost get the impression of not being in Italy. The landscape is completely uncontaminated and, surrounded by the lush vegetation of the woods, the meadows and the orchards of Trentino, you'll pass by towns  and small villages rich in history.
The bicycle trail starts from Lake Caldonazzo, precisely from the municipality of Pergine and continues along a town road to downtown Borgo Valsugana. From here you continue onwards to the town centre, passing through its streets and covered walkways to the market square. At Borgo Valsugana the bicycle trail begins again and continues onwards to Primolano.
The trail is almost entirely a paved road: a real bike path in excellent conditions and very well maintained, perfect to ride even with small children.The trail is about 80 km long and there are numerous refreshment and rest stops, grills, water fountains and picnic areas along the way.
